The Hitachi 23.9cc Petrol Split Shaft Brush Cutter CG24EKDSL features a split solid steel straight shaft allowing easy transportation and storage. The straight shaft provides accurate and precise trimming. Powered by a 23.9cc engine, the CG24EKDSL can be fitted with a range of optional heads. S Start delivers soft and smooth engine starting. The strimmer shaft & head is included as standard. The CG24EKDSL benefits from a Pure Fire engine. Hitachi's innovative 'PureFire' two-stroke engine, produces ultra-low emissions without the need for special or additional internal moving parts. During the intake/compression stroke, the optimized scavenging system within the cylinder and crankcase walls significantly increase the atomization of the fuel/air mixture which results in a much more efficient combustion process. Then, in the combustion/exhaust stroke, the exhaust exits through a small catalytic converter in the muffler where the remaining hydrocarbons turn into carbon dioxide.
