These Okatsune fruit pruners are fantastic!
The blades are very hard and stay sharper for longer due to the Japanese steel used in manufacture. They are curved to prune away from the fruit without damaging it. Sap is drawn away from the blades because of their unique design. The spring is 'V' shaped which distributes the load evenly over the length of the spring making for a soft closing action.
These pruners are really useful if you grow soft fruit and are fantastic quality for the price.
