6 Days and Counting...

There are just 6 days until the 2011 RHS Chelsea Flower Show opens in all its glory. The show opens on 23rd May for the Queen, VIP's and media, the 24th May for RHS members and the 26th May for everyone else.
Some of the biggest names in garden tools will be at the show including: Bulldog Tools, Felco, Nutscene, Spear & Jackson, Bosch and Fiskars as well as (of course) our friends from Ethel Gloves in the USA.
The Ethel Gloves stand will be located in Eastern Avenue, stand EA/26 which is on the corner of Eastern Avenue and the Sweetingham Steps which lead down to the Bandstand. As with last year, the Quality Garden Tools team and all the visitors from Ethel Gloves in California would love to meet you if you're passing by. They will be showing lots of new gloves including the V&A range, Bamboo Colours, Leather and Utility as well as their new 'Look Book'.
If you don't have tickets already, then you may have to curl up on the sofa with a cup of cocoa and watch Alan on the television - all of the show's 157,000 tickets are now sold out. Tickets on the black market are said to be changing hands for up to £250 which considering we have faced the credit crunch, the banking crisis and the coalition's spending cuts is a pretty impressive sum for a flower show!
